What are affiliate exchanges?
Affiliate exchanges are exchange orders associated with an affiliate referral. They help AAJA Exchange and the affiliate review referred customer activity, completed exchange volume, eligible commission, and any records that may need support review.
How referred transactions are counted
A transaction is counted only when referral tracking connects the customer or order to the affiliate and the order reaches an eligible completed status. AAJA Exchange may manually review records when tracking is incomplete or when fraud prevention checks are triggered.
Statuses that count
- Completed exchanges.
- Orders confirmed as successfully paid and settled.
- Admin-approved referred records that meet affiliate terms.
Statuses that do not count
- Draft orders.
- Waiting payment or pending payment orders.
- Canceled, rejected, refunded, failed, or disputed transactions.
- Transactions linked to self-referral, fake referral, spam, or abuse.
Tracking and reporting
Affiliate reports may include referred order number, exchange direction, amount, status, completion date, and eligible commission. Admins can review affiliate exchange records if a referral appears missing, duplicated, suspicious, or incorrectly attributed.
Commission calculation
Commission is calculated according to the affiliate terms and admin configuration. The calculation may use the eligible platform fee, a configured commission base, or another approved rule. It is not necessarily calculated on the full exchange amount.
Example calculation
If a referred user completes a 100 USD exchange and the affiliate rate is 10%, the commission is calculated based on the eligible fee or commission rule configured by AAJA Exchange. The 10% rate does not automatically mean 10 USD unless the administrator has configured the full exchange amount as the commission base.
Disputes and support
If a referral is missing, contact support with the customer email if available, order number, date, exchange direction, and referral details. AAJA Exchange can review the record, but attribution is not guaranteed if the order was not created through the affiliate link or if policy violations are found.
